Vano Nareklishvili, Khikhvi. Amber color Qvevri wine from terroir of Kardenakhi – the birthplace of Khikhvi. Previously in this PDO Khikhvi used to be Port but dry one fermented and matured in Qvevri is fantastic. You can feel intense aromas of: dry grapes, baked fruit and hint of yellow leaves. In palate wine is low with acidity and tannins which continues with hint of spicy and sweet flavors. Pairs best with: fruit pie, sweet and spicy salads, soft cheeses.
