Amber wine
Amber wine – which appeared in Georgia more than 8000 years ago have a characteristic color, for the production of clay amphorae – qvevri, where the grapes are aged on pulp and skins – skill contact. Amber wines are made from white grape varieties, often they have a cloudy, opaque color, although not always, it depends on whether the wine was filtered or not. The taste is different from the usual white: these are more aromatic and tannic wines, dense, with tones of oxidation, honey, quince, dried apricots, tea, chamomile, nuts are typical for the taste.
